More Political Support Governor Jerry Brown (remember that cute 1976 Presidential candidate) recently met with from representatives gay organizations and promised his support for Gays in the battle against the specious Briggs Initiative. Brown also told gay representatives that he is interested in appointing more qualified gay people to boards, This committees and offices.

Great Lakes Shakespeare Festival is once again expanding its summer program. This year it will include a film series of Shakespearian Classics that will be shown Monday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the Lakewood Civic Auditorium. Admission is $2.00 for each film. Is Anita Bryant succeeding in the very bedchambers of gays? An incident that occurred during President Carter's press conference on June 26th makes one wonder. With the T.V. on in the next room, two Cleveland gays were enjoying some afternoon delight. One was fellating the other. Seconds before his partner was about to climax, he heard a question directed to the President concerning the ubiquitous Anita. Leaving his partner writhing in frustration and anger, he leaped into the other room in time to hear Jimmy Carter dodge the question ...
